How we write our articles
Our articles help you live with the emotions that come with money. Here is how we choose the research behind them, how we write them and how we correct them.
Who writes our articles
Ekinance publishes its articles under its own name. Sébastien Hugues, founder of Ekinance, is the responsible editor: he reviews and approves every article before it is published, in the app, on this blog and on our social media accounts.
How we choose our sources
Every article rests on peer-reviewed research: at least two sources, including at least one meta-analysis, systematic review or randomised controlled trial. We check each source against Crossref, the registry of scholarly publications, and list it with its DOI at the end of the article.
We say how strong the evidence is, and we never claim more than the studies show.
Education, not care or advice
Our articles are wellness education about the emotions that come with money. They are not medical, psychological or financial advice, and they do not replace a professional. If you are in distress, contact your doctor or your local emergency number.
How the articles are written
We use artificial intelligence tools to search the research and draft the articles. A person reads every sentence, checks every source and approves the article: nothing is published without that approval.
Corrections
If you spot an error, write to [email protected]. We check it against the sources, correct the article, and show the date of the update at the top of the article.
